A Community With Soul

Where is everybody?

We’re used to welcoming travellers to our aquamarine shores, our clear skies and our wave-lapped drinking holes. But there’s nobody here.

The sun shines and the waves crash in, but the only thing I hear are “the locals”. Saying hello, doing good deeds, looking after one another and using the time to reconnect with the coast. It’s strange, but it’s nice. I run my 12 miles, smiling, greeting people walking dogs and watching the sea and empty beaches.

A once in a lifetime, we won’t take for granted.
