I feel like I’m numb. Living in a world of chaos yet all seems so quiet and peaceful.
A bit too quiet and peaceful.
As I look to the sky with my family, I see no stars other than one because the sky is flooded with unnecessary light. The star seems alone because from a distance its friends seem to have disappeared.
We need to remember that we are the stars and we are surrounded with others even when from a distance it doesn’t feel like it.
