Dear Yuri,
I’m a hugger. The limp hug, the bear hug, the I never want to let you go hug. I can’t wait for that hug. I greet people I’m meeting for the first time or the millionth time with a hug. The hug says hello, it says goodbye, it says you’re safe, it says I’ve missed you.. it says I love you.
I can’t wait to give and receive the rainbow of hugs that are available to give and to get.
I’m a hugger and never again will I take for granted that physical contact.
I’ll keep hope and I’ll keep faith and when we’re all free, I’ll hug.
